Gloucester City Queens are pleased to announce the signing of Shanice Turner. This highly rated forward/guard is another making the step up from WNBL 1.
Gloucester City Queens Head Coach, Jay Marriott said:
"We were hoping to make a few more additions to help us move forward this season. Shanice becoming available was fantastic news, somebody I rate highly and a skill set we feel we have been missing so far this season. Just like Carol, we have seen Shanice settle in so quickly to what we do here. I'm looking forward to see what she can do for us here in Gloucester."
Shanice Turner said:
"I'm honoured to have been given the opportunity to spend the remainder of the season with the Gloucester City Queens family. The environment is different for me but I am up for the challenge and looking forward to joining some former teammates as well as competing alongside some very passionate and talented individuals."
Shanice will make her debut tomorrow on the road against Nottingham Wildcats in the BBL Trophy, tip off at 5:30pm.
