Gloucester City Basketball have taken the difficult decision to postpone their second annual pre-season event, The Grainger Cup.
Gloucester Sport CEO, Jay Marriott had this to say:
As a sporting group we felt it a necessity to align our sporting clubs with each other during such a difficult and emotional time. With the football being cancelled we felt it was the right thing for the basketball to follow suit. The Grainger Cup will be re-arranged and announced in due course as we look to still remember the late Joe Grainger. We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause to those attending and hope you will understand.
Full refunds will be offered to those who have purchased tickets and correspondence will follow on details of new dates.
