Gloucester City Kings announce the return of Jon Martin for the 2023/24 season. The guard has been with the club since its conception and is a key returnee to the roster.
Jon Martin had this to say:
I'm looking forward to another season with the Gloucester City Kings. We have a strong team coming into it, with new and returning players that will play a key role in our success this year. I'm excited to work with Coach Bower, he is pushing us hard mentally and physically in preparation. We have a solid group to really compete and I can't wait to see what we can do this season.
Head Coach Jimmy Bower had this to say:
Jon was a key piece I wanted to see return this season, a real glue guy and has had to play out of position at numerous times to help us with injuries and absences over the years. This season I want to build some continuity to his role, he spreads the floor well for us as a shooter and facilitator whilst also having a great understanding of our defensive schemes.
