Gloucester City Kings announce the signing of forward Will Headman who is also currently in their St Peter's Academy program. The ambitious club are committed to developing the stars of tomorrow and Will has impressed in summer training to the point of receiving an early call up from Coach Bower.
Will Headman had this to say:
I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity Coach Bower has given me joining the men's team. This will definitely be a challenge for me but I'm determined to put in the work and help the team wherever needed.
Head Coach Jimmy Bower had this to say:
We are as passionate about development as we are around promotions. Will was given the earliest opportunity to join us for summer training and also summer league down in Bristol. I set some targets for him and gave him a brief on what is expected from him and the role he would play on the team. He rose to the challenge and in conversations with Jay we felt it he had earned a spot on my roster.
