We are excited to announce the signing of Swedish-American guard Alex Hayley. Having played two successful seasons in the WBBL with both a cup and trophy final under her belt she will bring great experience to the team. Having both coached and played at the professional level her knowledge of the game will be a great asset to the growth of the club.
Gloucester City Queens Coach, Jay Marriott said:
"I have been looking around for some experience for a while and was delighted when myself and Alex were able to connect. We have a special group so additions have to be carefully done but I think Alex will bring us so much both on and off the floor. Having played in some big WBBL games I expect her to bring a calm presence to the team as well as creating strong competition for places."
Hayley is cleared to play in the Gloucester City Queens home opener today against the Cardiff Met Archers.
