Hall becomes second Queens signing

Gloucester City Queens are thrilled to announce the signing of 6’3” Layla Hall. British forward Hall played for Worcester Wolves last time out and is the second signing in franchise history.

“I am delighted to be a part of this new programme, and am so excited and grateful to have been given this amazing opportunity by Jay (Marriott),” commented Layla. “As a west country player born and bred, I am excited to see new teams at such a high level being created, and am even more delighted to be one of the first signings for this new team.” “I’m looking forward to the months ahead, with a new team and new challenges, and to playing in front of the fans.” CEO of Gloucester Sport Jay Marriott commented: “We are delighted to welcome Layla to the club. She comes with great experience in the WNBL and is excited to test herself at the next level.” “We see her primary skills as a shot blocker and good shooting range for her size as valuable pieces to the group we are putting together. Layla will also bring great work ethic and commitment to being a true team player.”
