Gloucester City Queens are delighted to announce star guard, Melita Emanuel-Carr has been cleared to return to action. This comes as a huge boost on the eve of the Queen's inaugural league campaign.
Gloucester City Queens Coach, Jay Marriott said:
"It's been a very frustrating process, most of all for Melita. Having endured a long fight to get back on the court we were extremely cautious in how we handled this recent set back. We feared the worse but hoped for the best and receiving the good news yesterday we were all on cloud nine. It's no secret Melita is integral to our future so its great news for all at the club. We will manage her minutes over the coming weeks but just to see her back smiling around the place has been a huge boost to everyone."
Melita and the Gloucester City Queens are in action today against the Cardiff Met Archers for their first home league game of the season.
