Gloucester City Queens sadly announce today that star forward, Maura Fitzpatrick, will be facing some time on the side-lines following an injury whilst on International duty.
Head Coach, Jay Marriott, had this to say:
"We are still waiting on some medical answers but all early signs point to the injury not being as serious as first thought. Maura is an integral part to what we are trying to do here this season so will be sorely missed but I believe in this group and it gives others time to shine. We don't have a timetable for her return currently but hope going in to next week we have some more clarity."
The Queens return to action tomorrow away against the Leicester Riders following almost a months break from WBBL league action.
