Gloucester City Kings announce the signing of Tom Headman, twin brother of Will. The guard is the second product promoted from the clubs St Peter's Academy, having impressed Coach Bower over the summer.
Tom Headman had this to say:
I'm so happy to be joining the men's team and can't wait for the season to start. It's been a really big learning curve training with the men but over the summer I have been adapting to what Coach Bower has wanted from me and feel the confidence he has in me.
Head Coach Jimmy Bower had this to say:
Tom just like Will has impressed me with his commitment and willingness to learn. It's a tough environment for a player used to being a main option at academy level to a role player in the men's but he has worked really hard to make sure he understands this season he will have to be able to operate at both levels. We'll support him in those transitions and feel confident he will succeed.
