Gloucester City Queens have announced their newest member of the 2021-22 roster in the form of Inma Bautista.
The Spanish guard has spent three seasons at Worcester Wolves in WNBL divisions one & two. Bautista will make the step-up to the professional game with the Queens.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to develop as a player and I have to thank Jay for trusting me,” commented Inma.
“I am really excited for this new challenge and I can’t wait to compete at a high level. I have a very positive feeling about this new project and I’m confident that myself and the team will make a significant impact in this upcoming season.”
A delighted CEO of Gloucester Sport, Jay Marriott commented:
“I think she is ready for the challenge of the WBBL and will definitely strengthen the way we want to play. She has a high basketball IQ so we have had some great conversations on what it means to become a Queens player. She will be an important piece of the puzzle for us.”
Queens have already announced Marlee Ball, Layla Hall and Melita Emanuel-Carr ahead of the new season.
