Gloucester City Kings are sad to announce that floor leader Gabbie Antenciana will miss the rest of the season following surgery for an injury sustained in the teams home opener.
Managing Director, Jay Marriott had this to say:
We accept that injuries are part of sport but this was particularly sad news for both Gabbie and us as a club. We worked hard to recruit Gabbie and see him return to Gloucester we knew he was an important addition to this squad so will be weaker for his loss. Personally being very close with Gabbie I knew his ambition so feel for him so much. This doesn't mean he can't have an impact on our season and our club so once he is up and moving will be a very proactive member of our staff. I think I speak for everyone at the club that we wish him a speedy recovery and will be supporting him every step of the way.
