Atenciana becomes Kings floor leader

Gloucester City Kings announce the signing of Point Guard, Gabbie Atenciana. He returns after spending an extended period away from the county due to studying at University. Continuing the theme of giving local players an opportunity to represent the club and county, Gabbie returns after key experiences both in Worcester and Bristol.

Gabbie Atenciana had this to say:

It was always my goal to come back and represent Gloucester where it all started for me. I'm excited with the team we have for this year, a good combination of our core players and youth. I think we have the pieces to really compete in our division. The game of basketball has never been bigger in this city than right now and I feel blessed to be in this men's team as we aim to build the right culture not just for us but for the younger generation moving forward.

Head Coach Jimmy Bower had this to say:

We are delighted to secure Gabbie's return to Gloucester and feature as a King. This is his opportunity to become our floor leader and an extension of me and my philosophy on the court. Our success depends on Gabbie's ability to lead and run this team, which is a pressure he has embraced. Another local player returning due to seeing and believing in our vision is a real statement of intent.
