Gloucester City Basketball are delighted to announce the creation of an advisory board that signifies the next stage of the club's growth.
The team will be made up of a talented and diverse group that will focus on three main areas for the club:
Business Development - Ben Caton, Ben Lakin, Adam Stacey and Mark Hawksbee
Community Growth - Jimmy Bower, Davridge James and Ian Greaves
Gameday Experiences - Leanne Rawlings, Kevin Baldwin and Kim Prior
CEO, Jay Marriott had this to say:
I would like to welcome all who have committed to our advisory group. In order for us to grow to the levels we aspire it's important to develop a team both on and off the court that are talented, committed and passionate. For me it's important that as we move forward I don't remain the focal point for everything, we need to build a foundation within the club so it carries on long after me. With the BBL and a return to WBBL our pathway focus we know we need to take some big strides in 2023 and I'm excited to work and add to this board moving forward.
With exciting announcements coming soon this is certainly a signal of intent from the club as they look not only to grow but support the county in becoming a basketball powerhouse.
